About the role

We are partnering with a premier, nation-wide connectivity and telecommunications leader to find a senior-level Network Engineer who is passionate about automation, robust security, and cloud integration.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining high-speed connections across physical data centers, branch offices, and public cloud environments (including AWS and Azure).
• Administering advanced next-gen firewalls (specifically Palo Alto), optimizing security policies, managing secure VPNs, and executing strict segmentation strategies.
• Building smart solutions and leveraging infrastructure-as-code tools (like Python, Ansible, and Terraform) to streamline provisioning, monitor system health, and eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Fine-tuning load balancers, deploying modern SD-WAN solutions, and proactively diagnosing traffic anomalies to ensure maximum uptime and zero service disruptions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive network engineering experience, with deep hands-on knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, and core protocols.
• Proven success managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Palo Alto security appliances and advanced threat prevention features.
• Strong practical experience scripting with Python and deploying network changes via Ansible, Terraform, or APIs.
• A solid understanding of hybrid cloud networking, software-defined WAN (SD-WAN), and load-balancing technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• CCNP certification preferred.
