Responsibilities
- Attend CSOC Developmental Disabilities meetings
- Gather, maintain, and organize resources for youth with DD
- Assist caregivers with DD application as required
- Assist other CIS staff to link clients to appropriate DD resources
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services to clients and families
- Review cases with supervisor, formulate diagnosis, assess appropriate treatment and case management interventions, and coordinate care
- Complete agency and DHS required paperwork in a timely fashion and maintain updated records on all clients assigned
- Deliver on DD specialist responsibilities and provide Crisis Response services 24/7
- Develop and implement Individual Crisis Plans and re-evaluate clients' needs throughout treatment
- Make at least weekly calls to clients, documenting interactions in a timely manner
- Work a combination of day and evening shift hours, with potential for weekend work
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in human services-oriented field, with a degree in special education preferred
- One year prior experience providing treatment services to children or adolescents
- A valid NJ Driver's License with a clean driving record
- If Social Work degree, preference for being a NJ LSW
Pay
Annual Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Based on experience
