Circulation Services Evening Supervisor

About the role

The Circulation Services Evening Supervisor oversees circulation operations and library services at Johnson C. Smith University.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student workers
• Enforce library policies
• Maintain facility security
• Assist patrons
• Manage circulation and service statistics
• Support acquisitions and processing of library materials
• Outreach and promotional activities
• Online chat services
• Routine library operations such as closing procedures, inventory, reserves and interlibrary loan

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience directly related to the primary duties of the position
• Knowledge and understanding in providing library services or customer services in a diverse environment
• Good technology skills, writing skills, and communication skills
• Prefer a candidate who has worked with college students, is familiar with library services and procedures, and has web design experience
• Managerial experience is required

Salary

$45,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually
