Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Supports the development of excellence in HSE/CIPS areas, including 6S, continuous improvement, and other initiatives.
  • Maintains and updates HSE/CIPS procedures.
  • Works cross-departmentally and with senior management to achieve HSE/CIPS goals.
  • Leads change and eliminates waste through process improvement initiatives.
  • Updates performance indicators and HSE dashboards to ensure quality of data and communicates information appropriately.
  • Encourages employees to contribute to a safer work environment.
  • Inspects facilities to identify hazards, non-compliance, and recommends corrective or preventive measures.
  • Notifies service center personnel regarding environmental drives and campaigns.
  • Attends trainings on new regulations and safe practices.
  • Coordinates and maintains OSHA and EPA compliance programs.
  • Participates in steering committees and senior-level presentations as needed.
  • Collaborates with the accounting department to assist with various analyses and reports.
  • Supports additional operational/administrative tasks to ensure site success.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in HSE preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Continuous Improvement preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite tools.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to define and deal with problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Determination to move operational initiatives forward using performance metrics and benchmarks to track progress.
  • Strong project management skills and process orientation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to undergo background and drug screening.
