CIP Operator - 3rd Shift
Shift: 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, Monday through Friday
Hourly Rate: $23.42
Location: 1023 S 4th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51503
About the role
The CIP Operator is responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas, disassembling and reassembling equipment according to company policy and procedure while ensuring all GMP, safety, and 5S standards are met. You will report to the Sanitation Supervisor and join a team of about 60 at our Council Bluffs, IA manufacturing facility, helping prepare and sanitize equipment that produces Marie Callender’s, Banquet, Healthy Choice, and other products.
Responsibilities
- Support plant cleanliness to maintain food safety and operational standards
- Prepare production equipment for cleaning following Lockout Tagout procedures
- Perform visual and swab inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness
- Minimize downtime by efficiently executing pre-operational and sanitation processes
Requirements
- Lockout Tagout certification
- Knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
