- Partner with school staff and fellow coaches to create a welcoming program environment
- Show up consistently as a role model who helps students build confidence and social skills
Requirements
- California Interschilastic Federation (CIF) Certification
- Referee Experience
- Minimum of 6-12 months of referee experience required
- Eligible to work in the U.S.; pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening
- 18+ with high school diploma or GED
- Candidates must be able to engage in the following activities with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another frequently
- Sitting or standing for long periods
- Occasional running and other strenuous physical activity
- Moving safely on irregular and/or uneven terrain on a regular basis
Qualifications
- Lead by example as a confident, positive role model students want to follow
- Bring energy and presence that holds a group of up to 20 students’ attention
- Stay calm and empathetic when managing behavior or redirecting a tough moment
- Build trust quickly with students, families, and school staff
- Run activities on time and adapt on the fly when plans shift
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and school partners
- Motivated by Elevo’s mission to support student well-being

Pay
Expected Hourly Rate: $45
Schedule
Monday: No work
Tuesday: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Wednesday: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Thursday: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Friday: No work
Saturday: No work
Additional Requirements
- Must provide proof of CIF Certification to qualify
