About the role
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development (CIED) at UC Santa Cruz is seeking a CIED Operations Coordinator to oversee administrative services and support entrepreneurship curriculum and training programs. This position reports to the Faculty Director of CIED.
Responsibilities
- Administration and Program Planning and Support: Assists in developing and maintaining administrative processes for CIED programs and initiatives, including grants, research, compliance, internship programs, and student certificate tracking.
- Event Management: Coordinates event logistics, manages Panetta co-working space, and supports student travel arrangements.
- Student Support: Provides information and support to students, manages student use of co-working space, and assists with conference and competition travel.
- Financial Support: Creates purchase orders, processes expenditures, and advises on policies and procedures.
- Curriculum Planning and Development: Coordinates programs and initiatives, supports new course development, and assists with Crown College's academic initiatives.
- Academic and Staff Human Resources: Assists with faculty and staff recruiting and onboarding, and supports the delivery of the quarterly class schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of administrative operational activities, fundraising processes, human resources, and financial transactions.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications

Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience. Full benefits package available.
Pay
$33.79 - $40.37/hourly.
Schedule
Part-time, fixed percentage of time: 75%, 32 hours per week. Days of the week: Monday through Friday. Shift includes: Day.
