About the role

The CICU Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing advanced practice nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex cardiac conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their medical condition and treatment plan.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in critical care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
• ACNP certification or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac care techniques.
