About the role
Responsible for conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial audits of various departments within the church.
- Review and analyze financial records to identify discrepancies and potential fraud.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT department to maintain secure financial data systems.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial auditing or similar field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
