About the role

Responsible for conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough financial audits of various departments within the church.
• Review and analyze financial records to identify discrepancies and potential fraud.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT department to maintain secure financial data systems.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial auditing or similar field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
