CHS Faculty Fellow: Faculty Affairs

About the role

The College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) seeks a faculty fellow to work closely with the Associate Deans for Faculty and Academic Affairs during the academic year 2026-27 (August 2026 to August 2027).

Responsibilities

• Support faculty development, mentoring, and promotion for the College of Humanities and Sciences.
• Work closely with the dean’s office on promotion and tenure reviews, award nominations, and faculty mentoring.
• Showcasing demonstrated commitment to faculty mentoring and professional development.
• Experience with the promotion and/or promotion and tenure process is preferred.

Requirements

• Tenured and term faculty at the associate professor and professor rank.

Qualifications

• Interested in faculty affairs.

Skills

• Strong commitment to faculty mentoring and professional development.
• Experience with the promotion and/or promotion and tenure process.

Benefits

• A $4,000 summer stipend.
• A one-course teaching reduction each semester.

Pay

• Salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule

• Academic year 2026-27 (August 2026 to August 2027).
