About the role
The College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) seeks a faculty fellow to work closely with the Associate Deans for Faculty and Academic Affairs during the academic year 2026-27 (August 2026 to August 2027).
Responsibilities
- Support faculty development, mentoring, and promotion for the College of Humanities and Sciences.
- Work closely with the dean’s office on promotion and tenure reviews, award nominations, and faculty mentoring.
- Showcasing demonstrated commitment to faculty mentoring and professional development.
- Experience with the promotion and/or promotion and tenure process is preferred.
Requirements
- Tenured and term faculty at the associate professor and professor rank.
Qualifications
- Interested in faculty affairs.
Skills
- Strong commitment to faculty mentoring and professional development.
- Experience with the promotion and/or promotion and tenure process.
Benefits
- A $4,000 summer stipend.
- A one-course teaching reduction each semester.
Pay
- Salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
- Academic year 2026-27 (August 2026 to August 2027).
