Christian After School Counselor
Job Summary
We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to be on our After School team. The Christian After School Counselor's primary role is fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities.
Responsibilities
- Foster youth development through enrichment activities
- Lead elementary students in after school settings
- Devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential
- Have the chance to have an eternal impact and be a role model to kids in your community
- Non-exempt, part-time position averaging 17-20 hours per week
Requirements
- At least 17 years of age
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
- Passionate and love working with elementary school-aged children
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Able to work Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
- Earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
- Dependable transportation
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

Pay
The Christian After School Counselor is a non-exempt, part-time position that averages 17-20 hours per week.
Schedule
Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
