Responsibilities
- Foster youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities.
- Be a role model to kids in your community.
- Have the chance to have an eternal impact.
Requirements
- Average 17-20 hours per week.
- Non-exempt, part-time position.
- Desire to influence, impact, and serve the kids and families in your community.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities that align with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
- At least 17 years of age.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
- Able to work Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
- Able to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check.
- Valid driver’s license or Valid ID.
- Legally allowed to work in the United States.
- Dependable transportation.
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued.
