Christian After School Counselor

Responsibilities

• Foster youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities.
• Be a role model to kids in your community.
• Have the chance to have an eternal impact.

Requirements

• Average 17-20 hours per week.
• Non-exempt, part-time position.
• Desire to influence, impact, and serve the kids and families in your community.
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities that align with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
• At least 17 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred.
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
• Able to work Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
• Able to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check.
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID.
• Legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Dependable transportation.
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued.
