Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick up children from local schools on the Upper West Side and escort them to the JCC
- Work with a team to provide a safe and fun environment and create a positive classroom culture for children in the Clubhouse program
- Affiliate with age-appropriate activities for children ages 4-10
- Affiliate with afterschool specialty classes as needed
- Follow each child’s daily schedule of activities and ensure prompt arrival and pickup from classes
- Closely collaborate with lead counselors and supervisors
- Attend program orientation and staff development meetings every other month
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older
- Prior experience working with children 4-10 years old
- A bachelor's degree is greatly preferred
Benefits
- Part-time staff working at MMJCCM for 5-19 hours/week will receive free access to the fitness center, pool, and gym!
- Rate: $20-$24 per hour
- Dates: September 8th, 2026- June 10th, 2027
- Hrs: Mondays-Thursdays, 2:30-5:30 PM
