CHIP RUNNER - TALKING STICK RESORT

Assists the Card Room floor personnel by being attentive to patron needs, providing superior customer service, and contributing to a friendly and pleasant atmosphere for customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the Card Room Rules, Policies and Procedures and abides by all standards of conduct in the Card Room.
• Assists floor personnel.
• Maintains a friendly and personable demeanor.
• Addresses customers by name and acknowledges repeat customers.
• Obtains chips for seated customers.
• Verifies chip transactions with customers at the table and when leaving the cage.
• Brings the necessary empty racks for players at the game table.
• Summons wait staff from F&B if requested by patrons.
• Ensures that Card Room maintains a clean and orderly appearance, removing unused/refuse material from room and summoning Housekeeping staff when needed.
• Responsible for the enforcement of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, including observing and reporting suspicious activity of either customers or employees.
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, by attending Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering training at least once a year or as required by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have a pleasant personality.
• Must be able to handle pressure and difficult situations.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
