Chip Runner

About the role

To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a chip runner. This position requires strong knowledge of basic math, the ability to handle guests' requests accurately, and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with chips with minimal variances while maintaining focus and efficiency.
• Ensure guests receive accurate information about the casino floor and table numbers.
• Be familiar with the value of different casino chips.
• Have previous cash handling experience.
• Learn and understand all required promotional information and games offered at Parkwest Casino.
• Build a positive rapport with guests and ensure they have an unforgettable experience.
• Provide excellent guest service, reflecting the high standards of Parkwest Casino.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 years old.
• MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE U.S.
• Pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background check, and credit check.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to walk, stand, and bend for 6 or more hours a day.
• Perform repetitive hand actions including simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Exposure to excessive noise.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of the casino floor and all table and seat numbers.
• Familiarity with the value of different casino chips.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Ability to build a positive rapport with guests.
