Chip Runner - Maryland
Chip Runners offer a service that adds convenience for players, allowing games to run smoothly without interruptions for chip purchases. This role works closely with bankers, floor supervisors, and poker dealers to ensure a favorable guest experience. It’s an excellent entry-level position for those with serving experience who are looking to break into the high-earning career of poker. Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service with a professional demeanor.
- Exchange cash and distribute chips to guests.
- Assist players who wish to "color up," exchanging small-denomination chips for larger ones.
- Assist dealers and supervisors in starting, combining, and breaking games.
- Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests by notifying management of any suspicious or unusual activities.
- Attend training and meetings as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including collecting chip trays and returning them to designated areas.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Use of stairs and elevators.
Working Conditions
This role operates in a 24/7 high-energy casino spanning over 300,000 sq. ft. of gaming and entertainment space, with approximately 3,000 employees. The environment includes exposure to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises. Smoking is allowed in the workplace. This is a union position, and individuals may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.
Pay
Compensation is USD $11.00 per hour.
