  • Maintain, augment, and analyze current data feeds, including research of both Mandarin- and English-language content.
  • Identify and explore new online data sources in English and Mandarin.

We prioritize candidates with experience in both qualitative and quantitative analysis, though no prior data-science expertise is required. Training in quantitative methods and AI/ML tools is provided.

  • Proficiency in office technology: Google Drive, Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Slack, and video-call software.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Strong writing skills, especially crafting concise, data-oriented reports.
  • Coding skills and experience with process automation (e.g., Python, SQL).

Benefits

  • Opportunity to apply China expertise as a core function of your work.
  • Collaboration with a team of intelligent, innovative regional experts, operators, data scientists, and engineers.
  • Exposure to high-stakes questions for US Government clients.
  • Latitude to develop data analysis or other technical skills on the job and through external training.

Pay

$25/hour, up to 20 hours per week.

Schedule

Fully remote; business hours generally align with the East Coast but offer flexibility.

Clearance

This role is unclassified and no clearance is required, though all applicants must meet requirements to hold a US security clearance.
