Responsibilities

• Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
• Render accurate and concise interpretations between Chin Mara and English speakers
• Adapt to various industries including healthcare, insurance, finance, and law
• Maintain professionalism and neutrality during interpreting sessions
• Provide cultural sensitivity and handle sensitive topics with care
• Work flexible hours to fit around client needs

Requirements

• Fluency in Chin Mara and English
• Cultural competency and understanding of regional accents
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused under stress
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write both languages preferred

Qualifications

• Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
• Must be able to adapt to LLS technology enhancements
• Must have access to a quiet space and a reliable internet connection
• Must be able to operate a computer and related software

Pay

$0.60 - $0.75 per minute
