About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing residential and commercial chimneys. Duties include cleaning, inspecting, and repairing chimney systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain chimneys and related equipment
- Inspect chimneys for damage and necessary repairs
- Install new chimney systems as needed
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Communicate with clients regarding service needs and progress
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in construction or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
- Knowledge of common tools and equipment used in chimney maintenance
