ChildWatch Program Director

About the role

The Program Director oversees the success of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Childwatch Department, Campus Birthday Parties, and Branch communications with marketing under the direction of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Associate Executive Director.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ChildWatch and birthday party programs
• Supervise, hire, train, coach, and ensure safe operations for staff
• Manage balanced budgets and planned program growth
• Support branch special events, newsletter submissions, and association marketing initiatives
• Cross-promote YMCA programs and events between departments and branches
• Assist with Director on Duty responsibilities as assigned
• Support Strong Kids Campaign and fundraising initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities
• Experience in supervising or directing programs as a program and/or center director preferred
• YMCA Team Leader or Multi-Team/Branch Leader certification preferred
• Able to be adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety in work environment including periodic weekends and non-business hour workdays
