ChildWatch Counselor

Essential Responsibilities

• Nurtures children through purposeful activities dedicated to building relationships with each child.
• Supervise children in the Child Watch classroom, game room and all activities appropriately.
• Follows all procedures and standards for maintaining a safe environment.
• Makes ongoing observations of the children and has the ability to maneuver from one location to another quickly and easily.
• Cultivates positive relationships and maintains effective communication with parents.
• Maintains program site and equipment in an orderly manner.
• Maintains required program records.
• Able to plan, lead and participate in activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be certified in CPR and First Aid within first 30 days of employment.
• Individual must be able to pass reference check, pre-employment drug screen, sex-offender check, and criminal history check.

Pay

Pay Rate: $13. 00- $14. 00/hour
