Child Watch Coordinator
Join the Shady Grove Family YMCA as a Child Watch Coordinator and serve as a positive role model for children while overseeing programs and staffing for the Child Watch facility.
About the role
The Child Watch Coordinator plans programs, engages with children and parents, creates staff schedules, supervises attendance, fills in as needed, trains and develops staff, and maintains the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate programs for children in the Child Watch facility
- Engage with children and parents to ensure a positive experience
- Create and manage the staff schedule
- Supervise attendance and fill in for staff as needed
- Train and develop staff members
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the Child Watch facility
Requirements
- At least two years of experience working with children
- Experience supervising staff
- Available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
Qualifications
We are looking for responsible and energetic candidates who are passionate about working with children and leading a team.
Pay
$17–$18 per hour
