Childrens Gymnastics Instructor (Part-time)

About the role

A Parent / Child Gymnastics Instructor takes the reins and is a leader of Serious Fun during our regularly scheduled classes. Instructing parents and children during class.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, positive, and fun environment for the children each class.
• Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – EVERY WEEK!
• Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (we’ll teach you how!).
• Be ready to roll, climb, jump, and swing. Children learn through watching you!
• Comfortable lifting and spotting children up to 12 years old.
• Comfortable demonstrating basic gymnastics skills: handstand, cartwheel, mount and walk on a balance beam, front support and swings on uneven bars.
• Comfortable in a non-competitive and positive environment.
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience.
• Create a warm, fun and educational environment for the children and families.
• Take pride in our facility-treat it like home. Cleaning and sanitizing is important!

Requirements

• You love having fun, encouraging kids and giving High-5’s!
• You live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good.
• Kids really like you, but their parents really like you too.
• You would be voted most likely to be in a good mood by your classmates.
• You love to have fun, but you know when to buckle down and do work.
• Moving is more your speed. This is not a desk job!

Qualifications

• You could get paid to fold sweatpants or you could get paid to wear the sweatpants. The choice is yours.
• There is hands on training and you will never stop learning!
• There is room for growth in our The Little Gym franchise. Our directors and even our owner started out as an instructor!

Schedule
