Responsibilities

• Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (we'll teach you how!)
• Create a warm, positive, and fun environment for the children each class.
• Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – EVERY WEEK!
• This is a fast-paced environment that will keep you moving. Be ready to roll, climb, jump, and swing.
• You don't have to be a top-tier gymnast but you do have to be comfortable moving through the gym.
• Comfortable lifting and spotting children up to 12 years old.
• Comfortable demonstrating basic gymnastics skills: handstand, cartwheel, mount and walk on a balance beam, front support and swings on uneven bars.
• Comfortable in a non-competitive and positive environment.
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience.
• Create a warm, fun and educational environment for the children and families.
• Take pride in our facility - treat it like home. Cleaning and sanitizing is important!
• Available in the evenings during the week and at least one weekend day.
• Attend team trainings (held once or twice a month on Sunday evenings).
• Complete a tuberculosis test and a drug screening.
• Pass CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Complete online daycare licensed training courses in addition to The Little Gym training.

• Kids really like you, but their parents really like you too.
• Most likely to be in a good mood by your classmates.
• Move is more your speed. This is not a desk job!

Qualifications

• Loved working with children in a previous role.
• Experience in child development, physical education, coaching, and/or gymnastics is helpful.
• Ability to lift and spot children up to 12 years old.
• Comfortable demonstrating basic gymnastics skills.
• Positive and non-competitive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pass a tuberculosis test and drug screening.
• Pass CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Completion of online daycare licensed training courses in addition to The Little Gym training.
