Children's Residential Client Support

About the role

Damar is seeking passionate individuals to join our mission-driven team as Direct Support Technicians. This role involves caring for clients, managing crises, promoting social behaviors, and supporting clients' maximum potential.

Responsibilities

• Client supervision and care
• Crisis management
• Promoting appropriate social behaviors
• Supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential

Requirements

• Work on either the Children's Residential campus or Adult Group Homes
• Shifts available: 1st (7:00 am - 3:30 pm), 2nd (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm), 3rd (11:00 pm - 7:30 am), Weekend (7:00 am - 11:00 pm)
• Preferred shift may not be available at time of application

Qualifications

• At least 21 to work in Children's Residential program
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and good driving record
• No felony convictions or substantiated charges of neglect
• Successfully completed a pre-employment physical

• Conduct and supervision of recreational and life enrichment activities
• Completion of required documentation daily
