Children's Minister

About the role

The Children's Minister will lead the Children's Ministry at Green Valley Church, a staff-led, growing church with 400 weekly worship attendees. The role focuses on engaging in the broader mission of the church and providing a safe, secure, and loving environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Provides energy, vision, leadership, and direction for the Children's Ministry.
• Engages in the greater mission of the church as part of the family ministries staff.
• Develops and implements age-related ministries for Kindergarten through 5th grade.
• Trains and supports all children's volunteers.
• Maintains and oversees a safe, secure, and loving environment for all children.
• Communicates, serves, and equips parents, volunteers, and church leadership.
• Guides all aspects of the Children's Ministry to foster godly character in children who will make a difference in their schools, families, and all activities of life.

Requirements

Must have a passion for children and a heart for the Kingdom. A background in child development, education, or a related field is preferred. Experience leading children's ministry is highly desirable.

Pay

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
