Children's Cooking Instructor Seattle Eastside (Bellevue)

About the role

SFC SEATTLE EASTSIDE LLC dba Sticky Fingers Cooking® is hiring part‑time Chef Instructors in Bellevue to help cultivate COOLinary Curiosity in Kids®. In this role you will lead hour‑long, hands‑on cooking enrichment classes for children ages 3‑18, using kid‑tested recipes and a provided cooking kit. Responsibilities

• Interact with children (ages 3‑18), parents, and school staff each week.
• Work on‑site at various locations, leading hour‑long healthy cooking enrichment classes.
• Use creative recipes to teach kids about new ingredients, healthy foods, and the history, geography, and language behind each dish.
• Review weekly class curricula and prepare for instruction, including independent shopping for fresh ingredients.
• Teach basic kitchen skills: washing, cutting, grating, stirring, measuring, nutrition, safety, and more.
• Provide direction and encouragement so each child prepares a new recipe each class.
• Promote healthy food habits that nourish bodies and minds for a lifetime.

Requirements

• Availability at least 2 days per week (Monday‑Friday, 2‑5 pm).
• Commitment to teach full sessions ranging from 4‑12 weeks.
