Children Behavioral Health Technician
About the Role
Terros Health is seeking a Children's Behavioral Health Technician for an exciting collaboration with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley at an assigned BGCAZ location in the West Valley. This is a direct service position working in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley at an assigned site in the East Valley. This team member needs to have a passion for working with Children in an afterschool setting, be willing to be an active participant/lead in therapeutic activities, and act as a liaison for Terros Health and these co-locations. Responsibilities
- Conducts the engagement process with families to identify natural/formal supports as outlined in the Arizona Model, Child and Family Team (CFT) process, and Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) for enrolled families.
- Facilitates CFT/Service Plan meetings according to the Arizona Model and RBHA guidelines in order to create individualized service plans as identified by the CFT members.
- Ensures families understand the behavioral health process, the role of CFT Facilitator, and ensure family participation that links them to natural or community-based supports.
- Coordinates and schedules CFT/Service Plan meetings with natural, formal supports, and system stakeholders
- Submits appropriate referrals to clinical outpatient services within agency and other behavioral health providers identified by the CFT.
- Updates and maintains electronic medical records on each case which include but not limited to; Annual Assessment Update, RBHA demographics, Child and adolescent service intensity instrument (CALOCUS), and CFT/Service Plan
- Completes strength assessments and crisis/safety plans with families according to RBHA and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) guidelines.
- Develops positive supportive relationships with consumers, family, stakeholders, and other Terros employees and Boys and Girls Club employees.
- Actively leads group prevention or therapeutic group activities at assigned Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley locations.
Qualifications
- No experience required with a Bachelor's degree in behavioral health - we will train you!

Pay & Schedule
- Full-Time Employed: 40 hours/week M-F: 11a-7p
- Starting at $19.76/hr DOE
- Location: 2805 S. Ironwood Dr., Apache Junction, AZ 85120
