Children’s Center Manager

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and schedule employees.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the facilities, including maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the facility, including signage and appearance.
• Develop and merchandise products relevant to the department.
• Coordinate phone reservations with Central Reservations and department staff.
• Keep records and comply with legal requirements and licensing.
• Create and implement policies with assistance from HR and the Snowsports Director.
• Develop and coordinate a child-friendly registration process and areas.
• Work with the Training Manager on program development, staff training, and policies.
• Attend winter operations meetings.
• Oversee the maintenance and updating of the department's Operations Plan.
• Train employees on departmental policies, procedures, and systems.
• Manage children's lessons, daycare, and ticket sales, ensuring accurate record keeping and money handling.

Qualifications

• A preferred Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a four-year college or university.
• Four to six years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A PSIA Level 1 certification or equivalent.
