Supports the YMCA in providing quality childcare services. Responsibilities include supervising groups of children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years
• Implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
• Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement programs
• Follow all YMCA policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CPR and first aid certification
• Experience working with children
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Previous experience in a childcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills
