About the role
The Growing Years of Clayton is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to work with all age groups.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Previous childcare experience is a plus
Schedule
Required shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Pay
$15 – $18 per hour based on education and experience

Responsibilities
- Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff breaks, filling in for absences, and assuming classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts
- Demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff
- Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the direction of the lead teacher
- Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and fulfill all physical requirements of the role
