About the role
Gingerbread Littleversity of Fuquay-Varina is a licensed childcare center seeking Floater Teachers to support all age groups.
Responsibilities
- Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff absences, and assuming classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts.
- Demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with children, parents, and staff.
- Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the direction of the lead teacher.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass all background checks.
- Must be 18 years of age.
Qualifications
- Previous childcare experience is a plus.

Pay
$15‑17 per hour, based on education and experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
