About the role
Heritage Children's Academy of Wake Forest is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Aides to support in all age groups.
Requirements
- High school diploma OR GED
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Previous childcare experience (a plus)
- Experience working with infants (a plus)
- Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role
Responsibilities
- Substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts
- Demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff
- Operate as a team player and assist where needed under the direction of the lead teacher
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Pay
$14-$16/hr based on education and experience
