About the role
A+ Childcare and Learning Center is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to support the following age groups: All Ages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Six months of experience in a childcare setting is preferred
Schedule
Monday – Friday; 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Pay
$15–16 per hour, based on education and experience

Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
