Main Job Responsibilities
- Program development and Teacher interaction development
- Review classroom interactions, behaviors, routines to identify development needs and provide support per CD.
- Identify training/resource needs in areas of program, sanitation, regulatory compliance with CD and provide hands-on support where needed or requested.
- Assist CD with special projects and classroom environments.
- Lesson Planning and Program development
- Incorporate developmental objectives into LP’s and oversee modification requests of staff.
- Integrate activities and developmental goals into Tadpole system and Daily Reports.
- Classroom Observations and Maintenance
- Conduct classroom observations as needed or requested by CD using current monthly observation forms.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing and overseeing a school or early childhood education program.
- Thorough knowledge of Pennsylvania Child Care Licensing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Meeting all applicable teaching qualifications.
- Working knowledge of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Pennsylvania Keystone STARS, and Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts programs.
