Childcare Specialist

Looking for a long-term Childcare Specialist to provide care and companionship for a 7-year-old boy in Wausau, WI.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities that align with the child's interests and are age appropriate
• Create opportunities to learn and gain confidence in new skills
• Provide safety and supervision at all times
• Provide transportation within the community
• Celebrate wins together!

Requirements

• Previous childcare experience is required
• Responsible with excellent communication skills
• Demonstrates a mature attitude with safety always in mind
• Must pass a criminal background check and must be 18 years old to apply

Schedule

40+ hours per month with overnights in the provider's home. Flexible schedule!

Pay

$16.80 per hour, higher pay rate for shifts over 8 hours or overnights (to be discussed at the time of interview).
