Childcare Curriculum Coordinator
About the role
The Education Coordinator at The Nest Schools delivers a proprietary, inspired curriculum focused on health and wellness, arts and music, and life skills. Moving between classrooms, you’ll work alongside teachers to model quality instruction, support staff and children, and ensure the curriculum is implemented effectively. As part of the management team, you’ll also assist with teacher training, daily administrative tasks (opening/closing procedures, tours, classroom coverage, supply purchasing), and act as a role model for both children and staff.
A successful candidate will bring energy and joy to athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and playful dance routines, fostering a fun and engaging environment for children and staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly special instructional classes in health and wellness, arts and music, and life skills to each classroom
- Model effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques for classroom teachers
- Support teachers, children, and families as an additional resource within the program
- Assist with daily administrative tasks, including opening/closing procedures, tours, phone coverage, and classroom support
- Manage monthly purchasing and organization of curriculum supplies
- Participate in and lead energetic activities such as athletic exercises, stretches, songs, and dance routines
Requirements
- Current CDA Certificate, or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, or a degree in an unrelated field with a current CDA Certificate
- 3+ years of teaching or childcare experience
- Must meet all state and The Nest Schools requirements to work in a childcare setting
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Background or knowledge in health & wellness (preferred)
- Background or knowledge in fine arts & music (preferred)

USD $17.10 - USD $20.67 per hour
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
