Childcare Curriculum Coordinator

About the role

The Nest School is seeking an Education Coordinator to deliver a proprietary curriculum in special classes to each classroom. This role involves working alongside classroom teachers, serving as a role model, and providing additional support to the teachers, children, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the proprietary curriculum in special classes to each classroom
• Work alongside classroom teachers, serving as a role model
• Ensure quality in weekly classes and throughout programs
• Act as an additional level of support to teachers, children, and families
• Work with training teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques
• Participate in daily administrative tasks such as opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, coverage in the classroom, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies
• Energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and free and silly dance routines

Requirements

• Current CDA Certificate
• Teaching experience for at least 3 years
• CPR Certification (preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Fine Arts & Music background/knowledge (preferred)
• Health & Wellness background/knowledge (preferred)
