Childcare Curriculum Coordinator

About the role

The Education Coordinator at The Nest Schools delivers a proprietary curriculum in special weekly classes—health & wellness, arts & music, and life skills—rotating through every classroom. As a member of the management team, the coordinator models best practices, trains teachers in effective styles, transitions, and communication, and supports daily administrative tasks such as opening/closing procedures, tours, phone coverage, classroom coverage, and monthly supply purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Teach proprietary curriculum classes in health & wellness, arts & music, and life skills to each classroom weekly
• Serve as a role model for children and staff, ensuring quality throughout the program
• Support classroom teachers, children, and families as an additional resource
• Train teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques
• Assist with daily administrative tasks: opening/closing procedures, tours, phone coverage, classroom coverage
• Manage monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies
• Energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and free dance routines

Requirements

• Current CDA Certificate, OR Associate’s or Bachelor’s in education, OR unrelated degree with current CDA certificate
• 3+ years of teaching/childcare experience
• Ability to meet all state and Nest School requirements for working with children
• Outgoing, joyful leadership with a passion for spreading fun and positivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or knowledge in health & wellness
• Background or knowledge in fine arts & music
• CPR Certification

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Work Location: One location (no remote work).
