Childcare Curriculum Coordinator

About the role

The Nest School is seeking an Education Coordinator to deliver a unique curriculum focusing on health and wellness, arts and music, and life skills to children in various classrooms. This role involves leading special classes, serving as a role model, and collaborating with the management team on administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a specialized curriculum across multiple classrooms
• Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure quality instruction
• Model and participate in physical activities, stretching, singing, and dancing
• Support and train new teachers in teaching methods, transitions, and communication
• Assist with daily administrative tasks such as opening/closing procedures, tours, phone calls, classroom coverage, and purchasing supplies

Requirements

• Teaching experience of at least 3 years
• CPR certification
• Current CDA certificate, or relevant degree with a CDA certificate
• Experience in health and wellness, fine arts, and music

Qualifications

A successful candidate should be outgoing, energetic, and passionate about spreading joy and fun to both staff and children. They should also meet all state and Nest School requirements for working with children.
