Childcare Center Bus Driver

About the Role

As a Bus Driver at Child Development Schools in Clayton, North Carolina, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for students to and from school and activities. Additionally, you will support classrooms by working alongside the Lead Teacher to create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth among young learners.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Provide on-time, safe, and reliable transportation for Before and After School programs
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation, including attendance and daily reports
• Maintain a safe bus environment

Pay

$14-$16 per hour, based on experience and education.
