Childcare Center Bus Driver
About the role
As a Bus Driver at Child Development Schools, you will support our center by providing safe, reliable transportation for our students to and from school and/or activities. You may also support classrooms, working alongside your Lead Teacher to help young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements.
- Provide on-time, safe, and reliable transportation for our Before and After School programs.
- Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
- Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
- Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
- Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
- Maintain a safe bus environment.
Pay
$14–$16 per hour, based on experience and education.
