Little Guppy's is a licensed childcare center seeking Part-time Assistant Teachers to support our Two-Year-Old classroom.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Previous childcare experience is a plus
- Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teacher in all aspects of the classroom
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom
- Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
Schedule
- Monday - Friday
- 12-6pm, 1-6pm, or 2-6pm
Pay
$15-$17/hour, based on education and experience
