Childcare Assistant/Mother's Helper

We are seeking a warm, energetic childcare assistant/mother’s helper to join our family in Santa Maria, CA. Our household includes a 2.5‑year‑old son and 11‑week‑old twin girls. The husband works from home full‑time and the mother is a full‑time stay‑at‑home parent. You will work alongside the mother to care for the children, primarily focusing on one child at a time.

Responsibilities

• Feed and nap the infants.
• Engage in age‑appropriate developmental activities.
• Play and read with the toddler.
• Prepare simple snacks and meals.
• Assist with child‑related tidying.
• Join family outings to parks, playgroups, and other activities (driving not required).

Requirements

• Experience in infant and toddler care, with knowledge of child development preferred.
• Infant/child CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to become certified).
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Positive, easy‑going energy.
• Reliable transportation to the home.

Schedule

7:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with the possibility of extending to 3:00 PM.

Compensation

$22–$25 per hour, depending on experience and fit.
