About the role
The position is a hybrid, long‑term contract based in Research Triangle Park, Durham, NC 27709. The trainer/content developer will support the training implementation of the statewide Child Welfare System (CWS), designing and developing practical training materials and providing classroom and virtual facilitation for employees who administer Child Welfare programs. Extensive statewide travel (up to 75% of the time) is required, including some evenings and weekend days. The role involves close collaboration with the Training Lead, Applications Lead, Development & Testing teams, and subject matter experts.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop practical training and course materials for the Child Welfare System.
- Provide effective and creative classroom and virtual facilitation of training.
- Work closely with the Training Lead, Applications Lead, Development & Testing teams, and subject matter experts.
- Perform extensive statewide travel (up to 75% of time), which may include evenings and weekend days.
Requirements
- Experience developing, modifying, and maintaining Captivate, Camtasia, and Word templates, scripts, and PowerPoint.
- Experience revising training materials for instruction of adult learners.
