Child Watch Associate (Part-Time)
About the role
The Greendale Family Branch of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts is seeking a Child Watch Associate to provide a safe and fun environment for Y children and their families during designated hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and interact with children and youth in a positive manner
- Watch over children in the child watch area while their parents/families use YMCA facilities
Requirements
- Able to provide care and interact with children and youth in a positive manner
- Must be at least 16 years of age, CPR/AED certified for child and infant within 30 days of hire
- Preference for candidates with babysitting or child care experience
Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 5:00pm-8:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am-12:00pm
- Sunday: 9:00am-12:00pm
- Substitutes for mornings: 8:00am-1:00pm
Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- CPR/AED certified for child and infant within 30 days of hire
- Potential preference for candidates with babysitting or child care experience
