Child Watch Associate (Part-Time)

About the role

The Leominster Community Branch YMCA is seeking a Child Watch Associate to supervise children aged 3 months to 12 years old under the supervision of the Senior Member Experience Director.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of children and plan activities for various age groups.
• Follow all YMCA policies, procedures, and standards, including safety and emergency procedures, behavior guidance strategies, and child abuse prevention policies.
• Communicate tactfully and courteously with parents, YMCA members, and fellow staff members.
• Project a professional image through neat appearance, positive demeanor, and reliable attendance.
• Participate in program activities and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Previous experience with diverse populations is preferred.

Schedule
