About the role
The Zarephath Vision is to support children as they navigate life’s toughest challenges by creating safe, meaningful, and even fun environments where healing happens. As a Community-Based Therapist, you will support children and families through holistic therapy, collaborative care, actionable growth, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual, family, and group sessions addressing trauma, ADHD, anxiety, and more.
- Partner with families and community agencies like CPS and DDD for a whole-picture approach to healing.
- Create individualized treatment plans serving as a roadmap for long-term success.
- Participate in weekly supervision with the Clinical Director to sharpen skills and advance career.
- Balance work between telehealth and in-person sessions.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensure: LAC, LMSW, LPC, or LCSW (or Associate-level clinicians receiving supervision toward independent licensure).
- 3+ years of experience working directly with children; familiarity with CBT/TF-CBT is a plus.
- Age: 21+ years old.
- Clearances: Valid AZ Driver’s License, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of Arizona’s behavioral health system and the “12 Principles”.
Qualifications
