Child Support Caseworker
About the role
The Utah Office of Recovery Services (ORS) seeks to promote responsibility and provide child support services while ensuring public funds are used appropriately. This role involves contributing to these missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the promotion of responsibility and child support services.
- Help ensure parents are financially responsible for their children.
- Support children in care to help ensure parents are financially responsible.
- Ensure public funds are used appropriately through the efforts of the Bureau of Medical Collections.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in a technology-driven environment with intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- Exceptional ability to multi-task and quickly make decisions.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with an ability to assist people in a manner showing sensitivity, tact, and professionalism, without prejudice or bias.
- Ability to effectively contact individuals or organizations to secure delinquent payments, and/or arrange payment plans for money owed.
- Effectively interpret, clarify, explain, and apply agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws, and regulations.

Employment in this position requires a 12-month probationary period.

$20.31 per hour
Schedule
