Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Child & Adolescent Psychologist. Due to exciting clinical growth, we are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join our team at our Northbrook clinical location.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative group of clinical psychologists.
• Fully based at our outpatient location in Northbrook, IL.
• Work closely with specialized behavioral health staff, pediatrics, neurology, and developmental medicine divisions across the Rush System.
• Engage with a vibrant academic community that includes an established didactic training program, internal fellowship programs, and ongoing research initiatives.
• Primarily serving children and young adults presenting with a broad range of neurodevelopmental conditions, with occasional adult assessments as needed.
• Full time clinical role, spanning a balanced mix of clinical intakes, specialized testing blocks, and family feedback sessions.
• Participation in teaching as part of the department's didactic program is available and encouraged, though not strictly required.
• Opportunities are available to engage in research projects, though independent research or external funding is not a mandatory requirement for this clinical line.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a deep drive to serve patients, and exceptional organization and time management skills. This role requires a broad skill set in neurodevelopmental disorders, excellent behavioral management of children, and a comprehensive knowledge of both neuropsychology and general psychology to help families navigate complex developmental paths.
